The red bird on the windowsill: a sign of a spirit guide?

As I sit in my office, looking out the window, the red bird is perched on a branch outside, its head bobbing and bobbing, looking for the next place to land. It has been a constant in my garden for several months.

He flies to my windowsill, stays long enough to look inside. I guess you can see me because it flies as fast as it comes.

It is a daily affair. I brought binoculars to the office, so I could keep track. It has a habit of flying to the same branch of the tree and then flying towards the window. Finally, I was able to capture it in a photo. You have to be fast.

My sister-in-law thinks that the red bird sees a reflection of itself in the window, but my wife thinks differently.

You see, the red bird is a symbol of his mother’s spirit. My wife’s mother died many years ago after suffering heart disease. A few years ago my wife wrote a story about the red bird and what it symbolized to her. “Her mother of hers was trying to tell her something?”

My wife has been fearful and anxious about health problems, especially when it comes to her heart.

I look for the red bird early every morning. We know it is a female by its color and texture. We searched for it on the Internet. Also, she comes and shows us a worm or an insect in her beak, then she flies away to feed her little ones.

The last few weeks, my wife has been to the doctor. The alarm came when a doctor told her that she had found an irregular heartbeat. She was sent to a cardiologist. Testing is underway right now to see if there is a crash.

She strongly believes that the red bird is sending her a message. She comes from the spirit of her mother.

The universe can often convey messages to us through signs. We are often too busy to stop and consider what may or may not be a sign. We can ask the universe for guidance, but we don’t recognize the signal it sends us in response.

Learning the subtle language of signs can help you interpret the guidance the universe is sending you. We have all been blessed with a connection that allows the universe to communicate directly with us. However, in order to understand the information transmitted through that connection, we need to learn to pay attention and know what to look for.

To correctly see and interpret a sign, you must open your heart and mind to the universe and invite its guidance into your life. Many of us are blind to the signs we receive because we expect the angels or our spirit guides to thunder to us and tell us exactly what we need to hear.

But the signs are usually of this earth and therefore easier to find. A song lodged in your mind or a number that seems to appear everywhere after you have asked the universe for guidance may be signs.

The signals can come from the animal world, from strangers, or jump out of a book in the form of an insightful passage. A signal can be a direct answer to one of your questions. Other signs can point you in the right direction, warn you of impending difficulties, or show you a different path. If you want the universe to send you a sign, tell it that you are ready and willing to accept its guidance.

Not everything you hear or see will be a sign. However, if you are receptive and patient, the signals you receive will be easier to recognize. It is important to listen to your intuition. A sign can mean many things to different people, and only you can figure out if a sign means to you. As you practice reading the signs and following their guidance, the universe will send you more of them.

By learning from the example of our winged guides, we can all feel empowered to face bold challenges while charting adventurous courses. Feel the strength of others moving by your side, while their presence gives power to your wings during this journey through the sky of life.

When hit with unexpected tastes, we may choose to find refuge in the loving shelter of friends and family. We can even marvel when a difficult day passes like a swift wind, while a kindred spirit charts a path for us through the clouds and oncoming rain. If your wings start to ache on your journey, find someone else to fly ahead for a while. We all move faster when we move together.

While the red bird sign may or may not be her mother’s spirit telling her to guard her heart, the symbol is in my wife’s mind. Does her mother warn her about her heart?
