The Basics of How Korean Women Do Makeup

1. Front

To succeed in this goal, always start with a clean and clear face. Most East Asians are blessed with a fair to milky white complexion and fine pores, so having porcelain skin comes naturally to them. Its climate is also a big contributing factor, but I would still say we should also commend Korean women for really taking care of their skin by watching what they eat and religiously practicing a good skincare routine.

Next, what is very essential in Korean makeup is BB cream. This liquid foundation/moisturizer/sunscreen product is very effective in giving you that dewy, radiant skin, as long as you apply it to your face in the right amount and in the shade that suits your complexion.

2 eyes

Whether it’s in pencil, liquid or gel form, black eyeliners are a must for Korean makeup as it’s what they use to enhance their eyes and make them look bigger. For a fresh but subtle look every day, strongly line the eyes. Tightlining means lining those spaces between the lashes or lining as close to the lash line as possible.

This method will do wonders in making your eyes look bigger, brighter, and definitely younger. You’ll also be creating what’s known as “invisible” eye makeup, which has most likely left you baffled as to how Koreans have seemingly defined eyes but actually appear to be wearing no eye makeup.

Except for actresses doing concerts and performances, Korean women rarely wear bold, dark eyeshadow. They always opt for more neutral colors, champagne tones or simply light reflections to highlight their eyelids. Sometimes they would even choose not to put any.

3. eyebrows

When it comes to grooming the eyebrows, Koreans follow a different style. It is worth mentioning that his method is becoming popular and is currently known as “Korean eyebrows”. His usual eyebrows are actually bushy, unkempt, and very straight. It’s amazing how you can pull off eyebrows like this and still look stunning. The straight brow in particular can give you a look of youthful innocence that is great for defining your eyes.

4.cheeks

Korean women are smitten with complexions that are naturally fair. They like to use blushes in shades of pink, coral and peach in sufficient quantity to give a healthy glow. For a flushed look that is natural, use cheek tints. For a fresh, dewy, porcelain finish, they typically apply highlighters or highlighters to the high points of the face.

5. Lips

Korean women are known for their small but full lips. Please note that most of them have light colored lips. Very popular among them are the “just bitten” looks that they apply using lip tints (berry color), creating a natural and cute pout. Also, they like to wear matte lipsticks in peach and pink colors.
