Why Outdoor Weddings Are So Memorable

That special day is finally here.

For the bride, it is the moment she has always dreamed of and since that fourth-degree crush she has thought about the arrival of this extraordinary occasion.

For the groom, it is a moment of responsibility, leaving behind the carefree days of being single, to now take care of that special person and perhaps his family as well.

What better setting for this momentous event than nature and the effect it has on outdoor weddings. Standing under a gazebo to take your vows. With blue skies overhead, green grass everywhere, and the natural setting that only Mother Nature can provide. Gentle breezes or even an enveloping wind will bring smiles to you and all your loved ones who are here to share the beginning of your new life.

What better way to accommodate as many guests as you may need than the expansive setting that outdoor weddings offer? After all, this is a celebration, isn’t it?

What about the other creatures in the world, like the beloved family pets? They will bring a sense of friendliness to the ceremony that cannot be enjoyed indoors.

But let’s go one step further, in addition to all the possibilities of space and inclusion of children and animals, why not expand outdoor weddings to include a theme? Not only the ceremony will take place in the open air, but also the reception.

Use your imagination, but how about a garden party?

Complement the majestic trees and shrubs surrounding the event with beautiful flowers, placed on the patio tables and chairs. Bottles of wine and a cheese platter with crackers in each. Tell your guests to bring a pair of shorts to change into and enjoy the fun and relaxation to the fullest. It feels like stringed instruments for the audio portion of this meeting.

How about a picnic, with barbecue, potato salad and beer? Does anyone want volleyball? Or a friendly game of horseshoes? The old rectangular wooden tables will fit perfectly in this setting. Don’t forget some blankets for the kids and even some of your more childish adult friends. Possibly, these can be specially made or modified with the name of the bride and groom and the date of the event woven into the fabric.

I’m thinking of country music here from a band or DJ, but whatever tune you prefer can be played as loud as you like (and possibly local noise ordinance).

You say you and your friends have more exotic tastes?

Okay, does a Hawaiian setting suit your needs?

That’s right, it’s Luau time. Island music with the smell of roast pork on the spit. Cocktails with fresh fruit and mini umbrellas floating in the mix. Outdoor lanterns should provide enough light before the romantic campfire starts.

No matter what theme you choose, or if you decide on a more traditional outdoor ceremony, you won’t find a better setting for those special wedding photos than those available at outdoor weddings.

Posing with the wedding party against the backdrop of a sunny blue sky cannot be reproduced in indoor accommodation. Better yet, some little puffy white floating clouds cannot be reproduced on the canvas.

If there is a lake and a bridge nearby, even better.

No flash can replace sunlight in these images that will last a lifetime.

So let me be the first to propose a toast to the bride and groom and wonderful outdoor weddings!
