Stripper School 102 – Strip Club Audition Tips
Now that you’ve chosen a club you want to work for, it’s time to audition. There are things you must bring, the first thing is your stilettos. These are usually 5 inches or larger and platform types, you can get these at many of the dancer stores and even some adult stores. You also want to have a LEGAL thong. Some states require a full t-back thong, so check with your club and local laws before auditioning at the venue of your choice. You also want to bring two outfits. Sometimes a club manager wants to see you in more than one type of outfit and you might as well have a stroke, so it’s better to be safe than sorry.
When you audition there are three different types of auditions, some clubs want to see you on stage performing and will ask you to do a real stage rotation, on the main stage, in which the club manager will watch your performance and decide if he or she wants to hire you and for what shift.
The other type is also a stage rotation and is on a smaller private stage, often called a “satellite stage”, where the manager will have you act and decide after that.
The third type of audition, which is usually common in Las Vegas, is where you change into your costume and management watches you in the dressing room and then they assign you a turn accordingly. Keep your confidence and you will be hired in the place of your choice.
When you arrive at the club for your audition, you should walk in looking sexy but NOT horny. DO NOT wear your stripper stilettos, but wear a short skirt or tight pants that show off your figure and a tank top or low-cut. You want something that is nice, elegant and sexy at the same time. Your first impression is the strongest, so make sure you are as nice and courteous as possible to the doorman and anyone you come in contact with before management, as they often alert management before an audition to your character. Also, DO NOT go back to wearing gym clothes or your Juicy tracksuit if you want to leave the impression that you are a sexy, outspoken and classy woman who would be considered an asset to the establishment of your choice.
