DECIDE TO SUCCEED

If you are a little observant, you will notice many examples of people who are successful. Some are not. There are also many Biblical examples of successful people. It is our duty as Christians to learn from all these examples.

Someone may ask: “Why should a disbeliever succeed if he does not believe in God?” Dear friends and colleague. God has established certain principles; anyone who abides by them will experience success. From today I want you to understand that success is not an accident.

There is a path that leads to failure, and another that leads to success. It all depends on your personal choice. One of the things I do to be successful is watch successful people.

I once talked to some friends who were just getting into the music industry in Aba, after hearing their music, I told them that their music was nice but it wouldn’t sell. Then I showed you the music of some very successful artists. I sat down with them and played the music of these successful artists. I told my friends, “Do what these successful musicians did and you’ll get to where you are, even though I had little knowledge of music at the time.

This is such a simple principle that most people miss it. Many people prefer to follow instructions if they sound complicated. People have little confidence in words that sound simple. Do you want to be a successful student? It is difficult and yet it is easy. It’s easy because all you have to do is closely follow someone who has been successful in that field. It’s hard because sometimes it’s not that easy to follow another person.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL, YOU MUST UNDERSTAND THE VERY NATURE OF A PRINCIPLE. The principles are not modified by circumstances, they are not altered over time. They are not even affected by your prayer and fasting. Principles are invisible rules that must be obeyed. If you break a principle, the principles will break you. 1 Timothy 2:15 “Study to show yourself approved before God and men” this is a principle, do not study or read for any exam and see if the principle will not break you.

The law of gravity is another principle. If you jump from the roof of a seven-story building, you will die. You will die even if you are a Christian and a spirit filled person. You can fast for seven days without eating or drinking water or you must have joined the ministry in your 40 days of praying and fasting earlier this year, you can pray seven, ten, or even thirteen hours a day for seven days. But if you break the principle and jump off a seven-story building, you’ll break your neck and die. You can even ask your pastor or chaplain to anoint him with oil before he jumps, this won’t change a thing, he must surely die.

I believe in anointing people with oil, but I also believe in the reality of a principle. It is a reality that many Christians do not want to face. They feel that because they are Christians they don’t have to study to pass the exams.

No matter who you are, you have to study hard if you want to pass your exams, even in Christ Foundation Academy or any external exam; It is a principle that applies to both praying and non-praying Christians.

THERE IS NO FAST PATH TO SUCCESS

Everyone wants a quick exit, I’m sorry to inform you that there is no quick path to success. It seems to me that it is the nature of man to want a quick solution. That is why the ministry of miracles and deliverance is very popular today. People don’t want to live well. They do not want to serve God. They don’t want to pay every day. They don’t want to read their Bibles. They don’t want to change their lives and they don’t want to do the right thing. Students just want things to work instantly.

Applying principles in your life is not a formula that will lead you to instant answers. A principle is something you live by, which is the process of time that produces results.

Ask Mike Adenuga, Alhaji Dangote, or any successful person you know if he achieved overnight success. The next time you see ICAN’s 48th President, Professor Owolabi Adedoyin, ask him how long it took him to become ICAN President.

In Nigeria, many successful people have been persecuted for their success. Some have even been to prison like Mandela. It seems like there is a long road to success and there are simply no shortcuts to success.

Principles must be obeyed and will eventually lead to success.

FOLLOW AFTER SUCCESS

If you want to succeed, follow successful people, it’s time to disassociate yourself from those friends of yours who only bring you failure without you realizing it, they are parasites and they are pessimistic companions and friends who will never encourage you to sit down once and for all. to study. I know that God has given everyone a gift and you tend to touch on the good, good behavior and good morals. It is time for you to succeed in life, it is time to stop depending on others and believe in yourself, it is time to embrace God and his word, it is time to get out of that “comfort zone” and move on, it is time to say goodbye to malpractice and failure, time to be a champion and set the pace, time to be that trailblazer, time to be the hero and heroine, time to be the best in your department and the best in your university, it’s time to be the best in this great institution. Finally, I repeat that success is not an accident; It’s not just good fortune. It is the ability to follow the principles and secrets of God’s word until it leads you to a place of victory.

Thanks.
