Dark Chocolate Covered Almonds

Today I bought some dark chocolate covered almonds at the supermarket. You know, the ones in the bulk containers. Customers think they are the “natural foods” of the grocery store. At least that’s what we, as consumers, have been led to believe. However, they are not gluten or dairy free. And the dark chocolate covered almonds weren’t made with Ghirardelli or Lindt chocolate.

But that is another story.

These little treats are a treat with a Cuppa Joe. I prefer to drink Peet’s African Uzuri mix. They bring out the dark berry flavor of the roasted bean. Coffee brands I like are Starbucks, Peet’s, and Tulley’s Coffee. Every once in a while I go for the Seattle’s Best Coffee brand.

But anyway…

So I’m drinking ol Joe and eating these almonds. And lo and behold! I had an epiphany. The megabulb appeared above my head. It was a bright 100 watt light bulb. I reached over and pulled the chain. In fact, I put on my sunglasses and took off my shirt. Hey, I wanted a tan. No, not really.

An epiphany means: a sudden and intuitive perception or perception of reality or the essential meaning of something, usually initiated by some simple, familiar or common event or experience.

The epiphany was with the almond covered with coffee and chocolate. You get the two separate foods with a distinct separate flavor together. Coffee and chocolate bring out the best in each other.

Think about that for a moment…

They both have caffeine components. Each has their own power of influence. There are four sections in your language. All together they give in the bitter, salty, bittersweet of those sections.

Then apart from this you get a hard crunch from the almond. The chewing of the almond gives the shock or vibration to the nerves of the mouth and head. I think the chocolate over the almonds is dominant. That’s my opinion. I have been influenced in the other direction. There is a key ingredient of salt in chocolate.

Caffeine gives the euphoria in your brain. Caffeine gives you a feeling of clarity. It also makes you rush. Most coffee drinkers add a sweetener like sugar to reduce the bitter taste. Also, they can add milk and various sweet flavors. I have seen people add a pinch of salt. The coffee leaves a sour aftertaste. Try talking to a coffee drinker and you’ll want to give them a mint or a piece of gum.

The chocolate hits the taste of sweetness on your tongue. However, dark chocolate has a hint of bitterness, respectively.

All this combined power gives your head a boost and sense from the taste!

It’s similar to a baseball batter hitting you over the head without the headache, the sweetness of kissing a pretty girl you like, and a burst of energy all together.

But that’s not my point…

My point is this, associate with others who you want to become. When you do this, you will bring out the best in yourself and the best in others. You and others will have an impact on each other, on the people around you, and on the world.
