Is the use of pheromone cologne ethical?

I think it’s a great question and certainly worth exploring. By using pheromone colognes that influence a woman’s subconscious, is she being manipulated by a man to do things that she would NOT otherwise do?

To answer this question, we need to explore the conscious, subconscious, and unconscious mind.

The conscious mind contains thoughts, feelings, and material that we are aware of. The unconscious mind has desires, emotions, memories, and urges that we are not aware of. The subconscious mind acts as a filter between the conscious and the unconscious, determining what passes from the unconscious mind to the conscious level (consciousness). Human sex pheromones affect the subconscious filter.

To better understand this question, we must ask ourselves the question “Are men consciously manipulated by women?” The answer is yes.

Women wear push up bras to make their breasts look bigger and perkier. They don’t really look like that. Women wear lipstick when their lips are not that red. Women wear makeup when they don’t really look like that. Women use stomach, hip and butt slimmers to make their bodies look slimmer than it actually is. The list of physical manipulation goes on and on, and these are CONSCIOUS decisions to alter a man’s perception of a woman’s beauty. Is any of this ETHICAL? It’s hard to see it as unethical at first because it’s so common and accepted. But women understand that the more sexually attractive they are, the greater their chances of attracting a handsome man with resources.

Women manipulate all aspects of their physical appearance to better attract men. Why? Because men are biologically wired to respond to visual stimuli … for example, a full set of firm breasts. Therefore, a conscious decision is made to manipulate your appearance in order to elicit greater arousal and sexual response from men.

Pheromones affect people on a subconscious level. The subconscious, again, is our mind’s filter between our unconscious biological / genetic drives and our conscious state of mind. Pheromones help allow more of our biological impulses to pass through that filter. So in this case, the desire for sex is allowed through the filter of our mind more easily. And women want sex as much as men. Sexual desire is repressed in many women thanks to social and religious conditioning, so pheromones help to “surface” a desire that is already there.

Pheromone colonies do not eliminate free will. They do not take away from a woman her ability to become conscious. Pheromone colonies simply bring to the surface the desires that are already present in the unconscious mind.
