Gay bars in Inverness

When visiting Inverness, while it is a great city to visit, you will only come across two gay bars. Although there are other bars and clubs to visit just Nico’s Bar and Bistro, along with Cactus Jak’s and Bar Pivo.

When you visit Nico’s Bar and Bistro it’s on Ness Bank and it’s a perfect quiet night out with friends in this northern Scottish town. This is where you’ll find a lineup of cocktails and local beers, along with snacks and food.

There is Bar Pive which is located on Academy Street where live entertainment will make the night fun and karaoke can be added to the fun at the Inverness gay bar. They have drink specials for customers and carry local beers, the staff and atmosphere are welcoming to out of town visitors.

Then there is Cactus Jak’s which can be found on the High Street, this bar has monthly specials on the first Tuesday of the month. Part of the entertainment to be found at Cactus Jak’s is a dance floor with a DJ, dancers, party games, live entertainment on the weekends and a bronco for added fun. The staff are friendly and so is the atmosphere for the bar visitor, with drink specials and local beers.

Inverness is one of the cities in Scotland that has a lot to offer to the visitor during the year when the gay film festival and the Highland Pride Ball are held, both events not to be missed if you visit while they are in progress.
